Commissioners who serve on the Illinois Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission are responsible to hear out the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community and gather concerns and comments from individuals.
However, one commissioner has been openly critical of Illinois Association of the Deaf (IAD) for the letters IAD has written regarding IDHHC issues. If a commissioner has ignored your concerns or did not share your concerns with the rest of the commissioners, please email IAD President Corey Axelrod at president@iadeaf.org.
