Back in the 1960’s through the early 1990’s, Deaf and Hard of Hearing people gathered and socialized at the State Fair on the hill near the GIANT Yellow slide.
They used to meet on the last Saturday of the State Fair week.
The gatherings started around 5pm and lasted until the fair closed for the day.
LET’S BRING IT BACK AGAIN!
