Hello, my name is Marietta Coufal, Vice President of Illinois Association of the Deaf (IAD).
President Raymond Francini has submitted his letter of Resignation as President. The Executive Board met tonight and accepted his letter.
We would like to thank him for his commitment to IAD these last seven months.
Our by-laws state that the Vice President shall become President if the office of President becomes vacant.
Therefore, I (Marietta Coufal) am assuming the position as IAD President.
