Illinois Pre-employment Transition Services Week provides opportunities for deaf and hard-of-hearing college-bound students from the state of Illinois to gain experience and explore their career interests in STEM fields. This program is available to all eligible deaf and hard-of-hearing students at no cost.

The program will be held online Sunday, June 27 – Thursday, July 1, 2021, and is available to deaf+ and hard-of-hearing students in the state of Illinois.During the program deaf+, hard-of-hearing, and hearing faculty and staff serve as role models to introduce students to the college experience and provide support. This program is sponsored by Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf and the Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services’ Pre-employment Transition Services.
