IAD has established a new FB Group: Illinois Deaf Ecosystem!
This is a public group for Illinois Deaf community to bring together customers, Deaf business owners and Deaf-Friendly businesses to share, promote and to support each other within the Deaf community which includes Deaf-friendly companies and hearing allies! It is open to the Deaf community so customers can find and support Deaf or Deaf-friendly businesses which is the essence of what makes an Illinois Deaf Ecosystem!
This group is moderated by IAD (Illinois Association of the Deaf). Keep in mind that this is an entirely new group and that some tweaks may occur overtime to accommodate the groups needs.
To make this group a success we ask that you read and follow the group rules within the description on the right side of the groups page. This group will be monitored and any inappropriate postings or content will be removed.
If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the group admins: Donald Moore for the Chicago area/northern part of the state or, Darci Nicole Zook for Springfield/Jacksonville area and the southern portions of the state. *Please keep in mind and respect that both Donald and Darci may have limited to no access to the group during working hours and responses may be delayed.
