Congratulations Angela!
Angela Botz, ISD ‘85, is the new CCDI Vice Chair and Regional Director for Region 5. CCDI stands for Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities in Illinois. She is excited to serve on the board with their mission: “The Voice: advocating equal opportunities for all people with disabilities” and most importantly, equality through change at the local, state and federal levels.
Angela said, “The achievement of greater equality only comes through the action of citizens. That is, citizens who know about their rights, the rights of others and who are prepared to take steps, big and small, towards the realization of a more just, and fair and equal in society. Inclusion matters.”
