Membership

The IAD has two memberships: individual and organizational.

Individual Membership

Become a part of the Illinois Association of the Deaf (IAD), a strong promoter of the advancement of the social, educational, and economic well-being of the deaf and hard of hearing citizens of Illinois. As a member-driven organization, the IAD welcomes everyone who supports its mission and objectives. Your membership makes it possible for the IAD to protect the collective interest of the deaf and hard of community through advocacy efforts across the board.

As a member, you will have representation at the state and national levels on legislative and government issues, be invited to join various committees and task forces to help shape the IAD agenda, and receive timely announcements via e-news, invitations to leadership training seminars and biennial state conferences, and a subscription to the Illinois State-Wide Bulletin (newsletter).
